the city, all the way up into maine. now, we're not probably going to see a lot more snow in new york city, maybe 4, 6 more inches, but the big snow totals are going to be massachusetts, connecticut, rhode island, vermont, new hampshire, and maine, because that's where the low is centered. the low is off the coast here. the closer you are to the low, the more snow you'll get. that's what we have now. that's where the snow is. the snow is filling back into new york city, and ashleigh will get more snow tonight. not that much, but she will, and then this wind will be the event for tomorrow as that storm, we call it bombs out. it literally becomes so deep and so intense it will almost be the same strength, the same depth at what hurricane sandy was as it made landfall. the good news with this is that this storm is not going to make landfall. it's going to continue out into the ocean and move away. so maybe 6 to 10 more for albany. everywhere you see this pink, this is all the way from maine, even into nova scotia, back down

this is what we're talking about around much of the rest of the city. the side streets are still in quasi good shape. the other streets are treacherous. the sun was out brilliantly today. it was melting a bit of the snow. but now that the temperatures are dipping down as the sun goes down it's just freezing up again. some of these streets can be treacherous to get around. we're seeing a lot of people slipping and sliding. then as you can see, some of the cars are still parked on the street. some are still wrapped up in snow. i don't know what it's going to take to move them out of the way. the city has been working very hard throughout sunday trying to clear the transit tracks to make sure they can get on a quasi normal schedule. buses will be running in part. things won't be completely back to normal for quite a while. logan international airport back open, however. that's a good sign. but the morning commute, they are forecasting freezing rain, brianna. and so that could obviously make things difficult. brianna? >> oh, that's the worst. that is not go
